
In a sad incident, a twelve -year -old student of a government school in Hyderabad’s Begumume, reportedly attacked his teacher on Wednesday in school premises because he was angry after being caught by copying in his final exams, Times of India reported.
According to the report, the police received a complaint from the teacher of the Government of the Secondary School in Bandipet, who claimed that a class 7 student with an iron rod was attacked.
“The teacher Venugopal was attacked by a rod used for a bell catching. He suffered minor injuries and is out of danger. We registered the case of the attack,” said Toi Inspector B Prazada Rao.
Meanwhile, the school head Chandrashkhar Sharma mentioned that the incident occurred on Wednesday, when the student allegedly hit the teacher after the exam. “The teacher and others went to the police station to solve the problem,” he told the daily police.

Police Inspector B Prasada Rao said that the boy’s family members were issued a notice because the perpetrator is juvenile. “After the investigation, it will be produced before the Judicial Council for juveniles,” she added.
