Srisailam Temple Makes Minor Changes in Sparsha Darshan, Arjitha Sevas Ahead of Sravana Masam Rush

The Srisailam temple management has made some minor changes in the ‘Arjitha Sevas’ and ‘Sparsha Darshan’ for the devotees during the ensuing ‘Sravana Masam’ celebrations. Auspicious month will start from August 13.

Temple Trust Board chairman Pothugunta Ramesh Naidu and managing director M Srinivasa Rao said on Thursday that there would be a large influx of devotees during Sravana Masam, with pilgrims visiting not only the two Telugu states but also Karnataka, Maharashtra and various north Indian states.

They said that the services of ‘Arjita Abhishekam’ and ‘Arjita Kumkumarchana’ have been suspended for a total of 19 days namely Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday and they were expecting a big rush. During these high traffic days, only 250 Sparsha Darshan tickets will be available in one slot at 8:30 PM.

On other days Sparsha Darshan tickets for Lord Mallikarjun Swamy will be available as usual in three time slots – 7:30 AM, 12:30 PM and 9:00 PM Tickets for Arjita Abhishekam and Arjita Kumkumarchan could be obtained as usual on days with lower traffic.

To facilitate easy access for devotees, a system has been implemented to get 80% tickets through Manamitra WhatsApp. The remaining 20% ​​tickets can be arranged through the Devasthanam website.

The temple management has also urged the devotees to secure Sparsha Darshan and Arjitha Seva tickets in advance either through Manamitra WhatsApp or online and plan their pilgrimage accordingly.
