Governor Thaawwarchand Gehlot awarded a sanction for prosecution against the former planned Minister of Social Care B. Nagendry in Valmiki Corporation fraud.
The Directorate for the recovery (ED), which has explored this case, arrested Mr. Nagendra and in September 2024 filed accusations, which in this case mentioned him as the accused. The court was still to be aware of the indictment, because the governor, the competent authority in this case, was still sanctioned by the prosecution against the former minister.
Sources have now stated that the governor has awarded a sanction for prosecution against the former Minister, the court soon recognizes the accusation and can proceed to fees.
However, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Criminal Investigation (CID) Department, the State Police in Karnataka, probed fraud on the basis of the company, EC registered by Ecir on fraud, did not find the Minister for Vinna and did not name him for the accused in their Chargesheet. The way the former minister hopes will give him avert against ED management, said sources close.
The ED indictment claims that the Crore corporation 89.62 GBP was reportedly diverted to 18 fake accounts in Andra Pradesh and Telangana at the command of Mr. Nagendra. These funds were then layered through fake and shell accounts, while cash and Bullions were divided between the accused, Ed claimed. He also claimed that the deviated funds were used to finance the Lok Sabha elections in Ballari in 2024.
