India’s 2026 Commonwealth Games campaign continues on Monday, July 27, with medal opportunities in weightlifting, athletics, para-athletics, artistic gymnastics and swimming, while the boxing contingent returns to the ring for another busy day in Glasgow.

After an all-time third straight Commonwealth Games gold and Raj Muthupandi’s silver on Sunday, India will look to carry that momentum into another packed day with several medal contenders.

The biggest medal hopes lie in weightlifting. Gyaneshwari Yadav (Women’s 53kg), Bindyarani Devi (Women’s 58kg) and Ajaya Babu (Men’s 79kg) will all compete in their respective finals as India look to add to their medal tally.

Athletics also promises an action day. Olympian Murali Sreeshankar begins his long jump campaign in the qualifying round, while Gurindervir Singh competes in the men’s 100m heats. Tejas Shirshe will compete in the heats of the men’s 110m hurdles and Lokesh Sathyanathan will feature in the second qualifying group of the long jump.
