
Hyderabad University Land Row: The TELANGANY Government has decided to withdraw cases against students and remove the police forces from the HCU campus in the middle of an ongoing dispute of more than 400 acres of land in Kancha Gachibowli, which borders Varsity.
The decision of the Telelangany government came after a meeting of the three -member Ministerial Committee, which included representatives of CM Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers D Sridhar Babu and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, together with representatives of the UOH Teach Association (UHTA) and various public organizations at the Secretariat.

The Kancha Gachibowli range gained national attention and caused the Supreme Court intervention and the Supreme Court. Massive protests broke out at the University of Hyderabad and the students claimed that they were “forcibly removed”.
