The bill, as announced by the Prime Minister in an Instagram video he shared on the night of Thursday (July 23) to Friday (July 24), was cleared by the Union Cabinet on Friday.

“Thank you guys. I got the opportunity to talk to you at midnight. The way you responded to my video, the positive suggestions you gave me, thank you all. Your love will continue, our relationships will continue with a greater bond. Thank you, thank you, friends,” he said in a new video message posted through his Instagram link.

Mr Modi’s connect with the youth came four days after thousands of students led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) took part in the ‘Sansad Chalo’ march to press for their demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over examination irregularities.
