Lucknow Super Giants’ Digvesh Rathi is just 2 points from suspension in the Premier League. The celebration of Rathi’s “confirmation” made him trouble in his back matches, where the BCCi was fined twice.
The common spinner Shahbaz Ahmed, who spoke before the match LSG vs Kolkata Knight Riders, hoped Rathi would not repeat his celebration against Kr on Tuesday, April 8. In the previous LSG, Rathi was the goal of Naman Dhir for the second time after this season. Before this match he performed the same celebration against Priyansh Arya – his teammates at home settings.
“Priyank Arya is his very good friend … He did it on a friendly note, but because he’s on the verge of suspend, I hope he doesn’t repeat it,” Shahbaz Ahmed said before the match.

Digvesh Rathi was fined twice this season for the Code of Level 1 behavior. He was fined 50 percent of his match fees and collected three points of Demerit. According to the IPL Code, if Rathi accumulates four points of the Demeter, it will be suspended to one game. The Demerit points remain in the player’s record for 36 months, so Rathi will have to be careful even in the upcoming matches and future periods.
