HUNTING TIAL
A woman from Patha Gudur village in Jagtial district appealed to CM Pravasi Prajavani for urgent repatriation of her son from Abu Dhabi, UAE to participate in the selection process of Indian Army’s Agniveer Recruitment Rally.
K. Sumalatha, mother of K. Abhilash, submitted the representation at Praja Bhavan in Hyderabad on Friday, sources said. It said Abhilash traveled to Abu Dhabi on a tourist visa on July 8, 2026 through a licensed Gulf recruitment agency based in Jagtial. His work visa was issued on July 13. The next day he received an email informing him that he had been shortlisted for the physical screening test of the Agniveer Recruitment Rally.
She said the company employing her son refused to release him unless a visa cancellation fine of AED 4,100 (approximately ₹1.08 lakh) was paid. In response to her petition, state nodal officer CM Prajavani K. Vidyasagar wrote to the special chief secretary, GAD, seeking immediate intervention to facilitate Abhilash’s urgent return to India.
