“The party undertook to strengthen backward, young people, women, planned castes, planned trunks and minorities. These are parts that make up the largest pieces of our population and sufficient representation of these sections are essential,” he said.
“At the party forum, we received a statement of UDAIPUR and we follow it. In all the parties’ appointments we have this statement in mind.
“(Generation) shifting is happening automatically, there are many people who now take over the leading roles, whether it be in parliament or outside parliament, whether in states or new people listed in AICC, young people now take over the leading roles and live until the task,” Pilot said via telephone from Jaipur.

He argued that Rahul Gandhi led from the front and asked harsh questions in parliament to take the government to the task.
“We fulfill the role of constructive opposition, while BJP causes emotional problems,” he said.
Speaking of the AICC session in Gujarat, Mr. Pilot said that it is important that after a long gap such an event takes place in Gujarat.
“I think the opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has made it clear that we will focus very strongly on Gujarat. We were politically strong in Gujarate and this AICC will provide all our workers in the country, but more specifically to our leaders and workers in Gujarat,” he said.
“Gujarat has always been a congress bastion. However, in the last two decades we have not been able to win the elections, but our share of the vote has been very strong and it is a bipolar policy in Gujarat.
Gujarat is “an important condition and we are ready to accept any challenge from BJP,” he added.
When the third term of office of Modi soon completed in office, Mr. Pilot said there were many cases where congress and opposition managed to give the government to Backfoot.
“We want to repeat our commitment to work for the whole country, reveal government functioning and the way in which institutions try to weaken steadily,” he said.
The AICC Session in Ahmedabad will be with the theme “Nyaypath: Sankalp, Samarpan and Sangharsh”, with more than 1700 AICC members who will participate in the main conclave of April 9.
