In an effort to improve the results of the SSLC in Yadgiru and to ensure that it improves its position in the district ranking this year, the Ministry of Education made hectic efforts, the officials said.
SSLC tests, which began on 21 March, were closed on April 4.
In the last academic year (2023-24) the district in the list dropped to 35.
Implementing certain methods, including performing special classes, evening courses and group studies for students who have been identified in studies as backward, access to students in libraries under Panchayats and the preparatory exams hopes that the district will receive this year’s statement.
“Despite all chances, including lack of pedagogical staff for main subjects such as English, science and mathematics, we managed to cover the curriculum using graduation teachers of primary schools (GPT), deployment is at a nearby high school.
Lack of pedagogical staff
The lack of pedagogical staff is attributed as the main reason for the backwardness in studies and it also affects the results every year.
Of the 1,548 penalties of the teacher in the district, only 820 jobs were filled in and the remaining 728 posts, with 47%, are unoccupied.
Taluk-wise vacancies
In Shahapur, 219 posts (46%) remained unoccupied against 479 sanctions. In Shorapuru, 290 posts (51%) are unoccupied against 564 sanctioned functions, and 219 posts (43%) remain in Yadgiru unoccupied against 505 sanctioned sites.
“The government should take immediate measures to occupy vacancies. The district remained at the Ministry of Education. Therefore, elected representatives should push the government to happen,” said Naik, district President of the Organization for Cannad.
