Mumbai street artist Tyler has become a symbol of protest at Jantar Mantar on his stencil

Unless you’ve been living under a rock in India, chances are you might have come across a flood of memes, posters and art created by Generation Z protesters expressing their disapproval of the NEET exam paper leak. Despite being led by the cockroaches Janata Party, protesters across the country are turning to art to find a medium to express their displeasure with the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi.

Popular among them is the Modi template, flanked by industrialists Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani. The two can be seen kissing the prime minister. Behind this poster is Tyler Street Art, often known as Mumbai’s Banksy, who uses graffiti as an intended medium to create art that matters to the public today.
