Nandini’s butter, the price of ghee has gone up

The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has hiked the price of its Nandini butter by nearly 10% per kg and the price of ghee per liter by around 2.14%.

After the revision, a kilogram of butter will cost ₹660, up from ₹600, while a liter of ghee will cost ₹715, up from ₹700. This is the second price revision in eight months after the KMF increased the prices of ghee by 10% and butter by 4.78% in November 2025.

With the latest revision, a 500ml sachet of ghee will now cost ₹358. Among pet jars of ghee, a 50ml pack will cost ₹55, 100ml ₹90, 200ml ₹170 and 500ml ₹368, while 1-litre and 5-litre pet tins will cost ₹735 and ₹3.55.

Similarly, a 1-litre tin will cost ₹750, while a 15kg tin will cost ₹11,625. Among butter products, a 100g pack of salted butter will cost ₹70, while a 500g pack will cost ₹310.
