
Exchanged views on ways to strengthen relationships in mutual interest: President of Dissanayake
“I welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his delegation in Sri Lanka as our first state guest after the establishment of our government. This meeting reflects the proximity and friendliness that India and Sri Lanka have used from time to time.
“OR Relationship is Built on Shared Values, Mutual Respect and Common Interests. The Two Countries Share This Diversity, And We Have Shared Religion, Culture, and Traditions Based on and Security Factor, Two Teams Refused to Come to Sri Lanka, But India offferred to Engage in That Activity as A Gesture of Friendship, ”he Said.
“Some time ago, with PM Modi and I, together with our delegations, joined the intention of bilateral interviews. We have reviewed the current state of our bilateral cooperation and exchanged opinions and resources further strengthen our relations in areas of mutual interest in the future.
It also assures PM Modi that Sri Lanka will not allow his territory to be used in a way that is contaminated for Indian safety interests.
