The day after the Law 2025 WAQF was issued with the majority vote in both houses of parliament after the marathon debate, which continued after midnight, President Bahujan Samai (April 4, 2025) stated that the law was hurried and rushed that her party would support the government.
“After listening to the ruling and opposition parties in the WAQF Act (amendment) in Parliament, the conclusion that it would be better if the Union government received more time to understand this bill and clear all its doubts than to introduce this law in the house.
In the related development of the WAQF law, security across Uttar Pradesh was tightened as a preventive measure, while on Friday (April 4, 2025) the police were led by flags’ flags. The department was abolished by the permission of the police staff in the state.
In some sensitive districts such as Sambhal, Aligar, Kanpur, Agra, Moradabad, Varanasi, Bahraich and Saharanpur, the drones were also supervised to follow the situation.
