Jharkhand Chief Electoral Officer K. Ravi Kumar said on Saturday (May 23, 2026) that mapping of parent voters of 75% voters with the 2003 electoral rolls has been completed ahead of the SIR exercise scheduled to begin in the state on June 20.

The list of all uncharted voters will be posted in all polling stations from Saturday (May 23, 2026), he said.

All mapped voters would not be required to submit any additional documents for the subsequent Special Intensive Review (SIR) exercise.

Jharkhand now has 2.64 million voters.

“Parental mapping of 75% voters in Jharkhand with the last Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2003 electoral rolls has been completed so far. The list of all unmapped voters will be released starting today (May 23) in all polling stations across the state,” the director general said.

He urged the voters to visit the respective polling centers and verify their names in the uncharted voter list, he said.

Mr. Kumar said that people whose names appear in the unmapped list should contact their booth level officer to get their names mapped.

The list will be available in all polling stations for the next two weeks, the director general said, adding that on August 5, the list of absentee, deceased and duplicate voters will also be published along with the proposed release of the voter list.
