Kurnool is gearing up for the Chief Minister’s visit on July 25

Kurnool District Collector A. Siri on Wednesday announced that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch the state government’s flagship health initiative ‘Sanjeevani’ on July 25 (Saturday) at Aspari in Kurnool district.

Ahead of the chief minister’s visit, the collector along with district officials inspected the proposed heliport, public meeting venue, primary health center (PHC), parking facilities, drinking water arrangements, sanitation arrangements, security and traffic management plans at Aspari.

Speaking to the media, Ms Siri said the chief minister was to visit the primary health center to review medical services provided to patients, including registration procedures, medical consultations and health delivery mechanisms. He will formally launch the Sanjeevani program before attending a public meeting and interacting with party cadres.

The Chief Minister will also review the state government’s ‘Safe Motherhood’ initiative, which focuses on maternal health, nutrition, mental well-being and postnatal care from pregnancy to delivery and beyond.

Mr. Naidu will also interact with pregnant women and their family members during the visit. It will also launch a mobile health service ‘Arogya Ratham’ to provide diagnostic and preventive health care to people in rural communities.
