(PTI photos) New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KRK) Batting All-Rounder Venkates Iyer again proved to be Nemesis Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and smash his third consecutive half a century against them in IPL. On Thursday 60 out of only 29 balls of left handra in Eden Gardens helped KKR after a competitive 200/6 in their conflict IPL 2025.
With these shifts, Iyer joined the elite list of doughs that recorded three or more consecutive 1950s against SRH. Only Rajasthan Royals Captain Sanju Samson, with four fifty backs against SRH, and FAF du Plessis, who also recorded three against them, had previously achieved this performance.

Iyer’s remarkable run against SRH includes 51 (28) in 2024 qualifiers 1 and 52 (26) in last year’s final. His latest knocking was a blistering display of a stroke that gave a strong foundation.
