In this respect, a decision was taken at a meeting of the cabinet, which took place here under the chairman of the main Minister Bhagwant Mann.
The statement further states that policy changes would also reduce consumer prices for the public, increased state income and eliminated any potential monopoly in the mining sector.
“The change lays down the mining miners (CRM), allowing the owners of crushers who have gravel land to get mining rent. This step is expected to reduce the illegal transport of material from other countries and increase the availability of crushed sand and gravel (Bajri) that are necessary for development activities in the state,” he said.
He added: “Similarly, the mining places of the landowner (LMS) will facilitate landowners with land containing sand deposits to apply for mining and sell material in the open market for the reported government rates.”
Previously, many mining sites remained non -operative because of the lack of consent of landowners because they were not willing to allow unknown individuals to minimize their land. The introduction of LMS will increase the number of operational mining sites, which will increase the market offer and state revenues. This step also prevents monopolies from the mining sector.
