Delhi rains LIVE: Intense rain lashed Delhi-NCR on Tuesday morning after an overnight downpour. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) warned of more showers during the day and issued a yellow alert. The wet weather is forecast to continue for two more days, until July 23, and the yellow warning will remain in place until tomorrow.

The July 21 forecast says: “Generally cloudy skies. Occasional light to moderate rain in most places, scattered heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms/lightning/winds 30-40 km/h gusts up to 50 km/h early morning to midday. One or two periods of very light to light rain during the remainder of the day.”

Today’s temperature in Delhi

Several places in Delhi recorded humidity levels around 40% at 7:45 am. The New Delhi monitoring station recorded a temperature of 26.2 degrees Celsius with 100% humidity. Today’s maximum temperature is likely to be -3.1°C to -5.0°C below normal, settling in the 31°C to 33°C range. Meanwhile, minimum temperatures are expected to range between 24°C and 26°C, significantly -1.6°C to -3.0°C below normal.
