The biker died in a collision with a nephew of Mla Raja Kage on the National Motorway Pune-Bengalur near Kittur in the Belagavi district on Wednesday.
Basavaraj pudalikti from Gokak died on the spot.
Two billion -class riders of Sannavitthal Duradundi and Ningappa Hebbal were injured.
Eyewitnesses told the police that Siddanagouda Kage, a nephew of the MLA, was driving a car. He suffered minor injuries. These facts are confirmed, the policeman said.
The victim’s body was sent to Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences for Post Mortem.
The place was visited by officers from the Kittur police station. The case is registered. The investigation is turned on, said the police director Bheemashankar S. Gouled.
