Training and special initiatives meant World Autism Awareness Day, which took place here on Wednesday (April 2, 2025).
Lourdes Hospital and Lourdes Institute of Behavioral Sciences in cooperation with Ernakula Social Service Society organized training for special teachers and social workers. According to the edition, this event was aimed at increasing the awareness and understanding of autism and its strategies of care.
Dbiz has expanded support to “ausome bites”, an initiative of Autism Club Ernakulam, which seizes children on the autistic spectrum by baking. The company provided a stand in the carnival infopark, where delicious roast goodies would be sold, the release said.
