IndiGo flyer asks passengers to join CJP protest; says “Your country has no social anxiety” | Today’s news
People from all walks of life supported Cockroach Janta Party’s Chalo Sansad protest march in Delhi today. Supporters from across the country travel to the capital to join the rally. Meanwhile, a video surfaced on social media showing one of the protesters on board an IndiGo flight encouraging fellow passengers to support the peaceful demonstration.
A video shared on Akshay Sonawane’s Instagram shows a passenger addressing fellow passengers on a Delhi-bound flight. It shows a man standing in the aisle of an airplane and talking to passengers above the cabin.

He says, “Hello everyone, can I have your attention please? I just want to thank everyone who is coming to Delhi for a peaceful protest. I also want to let you know that if you need any support, I have some friends on the plane as well, so please feel free to reach out to us for moral support. If you need help with accommodation or transportation, or if you are just visiting our country Delhi for a peaceful protest, I would really appreciate Mana to visit our country for a peaceful protest too, thank you very much.
The video also carries an on-screen message: “There is no social anxiety when you speak for your country.”
How social media users reacted:
Many social media users applauded the passenger for speaking confidently in front of a full cabin. Several comments praised his call for peaceful participation and his offer to help fellow travelers with accommodation, transport and moral support. The clip has since been widely shared online, with many describing it as a deliberate call to support the ongoing protest at Jantar Mantar.
Highlights of CJP’s protest
Delhi Police arrested CJP founder and president Abhijeet Dipke. The Samajwadi Party claimed that Lok Sabha MP Dimple Yadav and several other SP leaders were also detained. Thousands of supporters gathered at Jantar Mantar to protest the demands linked to the alleged leak of NEET-UG 2026 paper.
Security has been tightened and personnel of the Rapid Deployment Force have been deployed in central Delhi to prevent any disturbance near Parliament. Several metro station barriers were also temporarily closed.
As the crowd increased, the protesters and Delhi Police personnel clashed, following which the police resorted to “lathicharge”.
Delhi Police on Sunday denied permission for the protest and imposed restrictions on large gatherings.
