Criminal agencies agencies should be aware of social changes in India, the Minister of Trade Unions for Railways, Electronics and Information Technologies and information and broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Tuesday (April 1, 2025). Mr. Vaishnaw lectured a lecture by DP Kohli Memorial on the day of the Central Investigation Office (CBI).
“When the country grows to 6-8%, rapid growth brings changes in the system,” said Mr. Vaishnaw. “When there is a change, the context of the investigation changes. What has been in control and allows a paradise crime, is now removed from the law and considered something that is part of the economy. This change of thinking is actually required in today’s context.”
Mr. Vaishnaw is the second Minister of the Union, who presented a lecture by DP Kohli, established in 2000 in honor of the inauguration director of the same name CBI. The annual lecture was also shown in the past by visiting the leaders of foreign police forces and Interpol, the Supreme Court judges (who presented the previous three lectures), the General Prosecutors, the Indian President and Vice President of India.
“Gone are the days when the investigation was limited to interviewing people and gathering evidence manually,” said Mr. Vaishnaw. “Today, AI AI can commit the crime and ethical questions about which arrests will appear. Is the company that has created AI Age responsible?… When we set out on this journey to Viksit Bharat (developing India), we should cooperate with startups, industry and academies.”
“Today, a new US tariff mode will be kicked,” Mr. Vaishnaw said. “The whole new thinking in the geopolitical, geo of economic and geocultural standards is changing the global economic order significantly. The world will not remain the same.”
