Linkage of FRS attendance with payment of examination fee in approved diets

The state government has given permission to link the attendance data generated by the Facial Recognition System (FRS) with the examination fee payment and examination eligibility process of student-teachers.

The system will be applied to all state-run District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) and private colleges with Diploma in Basic Education and Diploma in Pre-Primary Education. The process will be ordered from the current academic year.

The practice, officials said, will help create an integrated system to ensure that only eligible students can register for the exams and make the examination process more efficient and transparent.
