The main junior Civil Court imposed a sentence of 10,000 GBP per persons who caught driving under the influence of alcohol.
On Monday, the Chittoor traffic police caught 17 people who were driving under the influence of alcohol and produced them in court on Tuesday. The court imposed a sentence of 10,000 GBP per violators. The police said that since the beginning of the year, 868 persons were captured for driving under the influence of alcohol and a fine of 86.8 GBP Lakh, which was imposed on them by the court.
The police warned that a drunk driver would be fined 10,000 or six -month -old prisoners or both. The police asked people to follow the rules of transport and avoid fines.
