A 44 -year -old woman, identified as hema, was found dead in mysterious circumstances in her residence in Nanjappa Layout, Adugodi. Her family claimed that she was murdered by her husband and accused him of the extramarital affair and maintaining a separate house for the other nearby.
According to the Hema family, she previously told them the alleged affair of her husband and even tried to suicide in January. She claims that the heated argument between the couple could lead to her murder.
Hema’s husband, however, denied the accusation and claimed that she had died suicide, allegedly because of concerns about their daughter’s education.
“Contrary to his claims, Hem’s family said no one had seen her body hanging, and they suspected that after she saw her remains in the hospital,” the police officer said, adding that the investigation was going.
Hema, who studied in Russia, returned to Bengalur on Monday and made the last ceremonies in the crematorium of Adugodi.
Meanwhile, the police registered the case of suspicious death and waits for a mortem report to determine the exact cause of death. Investigations are underway.
