Group of five arrested in Chinnappanahalli security guard murder case

The HAL police have arrested five persons in connection with the murder of 20-year-old watchman Vishwakarma following a trivial argument in Chinnappanahalli.

According to the complaint filed by Nabin Singh, the victim and the accused knew each other and lived in the same locality. The accused allegedly used to pick fights with Vishwakarma due to previous disputes and repeatedly threatened to kill him.

On July 13, when the victim was playing cricket with friends near a property in Chinnappanahalli, the accused allegedly confronted and assaulted him. Later that night, between 9:30 and 10:00 p.m., they again clashed near a shop near the complainant’s residence and allegedly attacked Vishwakarma with an iron fist, resulting in his death.

HAL police arrested Narendra Chand, Ram Chand, Govinda Chand, Vimal and Vimal in connection with the case. Further investigation is underway.
