CM provides one acre of land to FLO and FICCI

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced 1,000 square yards of land for the construction of FICCI headquarters next to Shilparamam. Greeting the FICCI Ladies Organization to celebrate its 25th anniversary – FICCI itself completes 100 years in 2027 – the Chief Minister also announced the allotment of one acre of land to FICCI in Bharat Future City. The State Government would like to support FICCI as a partner in the development of ‘Bharat Future City’, a highly prestigious project undertaken by this Government.

Further, the CM said that in view of the success of the industrial park set up under the auspices of FICCI Ladies Organisation, the government is considering building another industrial park dedicated to women empowerment. He argued that the economic empowerment of women is evidence of economic growth and a higher standard of living.

The Chief Minister also briefed the FICCI delegation about the ‘Vikasit Bharat 2047’ goal of achieving a $30 trillion economy. Telangana, which accounts for 2.5 percent of the population, has sought to increase its share of the national GDP from 5 percent to 10 percent. “We have set goals of a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047.” Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju, Adviser to CM Ramakrishna Rao, FLO National President Pooja Garg, FLO Hyderabad Chairperson Sita Reddy Gaddam and women entrepreneurs attended the meeting.
