CBSE declares the results of class 10th second exam

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results of the Class 10th Board Second Examination held from May 15 to May 21, 2026. The results are available through the student result portal DigiLocker (results.digilocker.gov.in)
A total of 6,63,777 candidates appeared for the exam. Out of 5,13,955 students who appeared for improvement, 59.95% candidates improved their scores. 1,49,822 students appeared for the departmental examination and 52.40% of them passed. The combined pass percentage of both exams together was 96.78%.
CBSE said that the school results will be communicated to their registered email ID. They can also access their students’ digital academic documents through the repository using the credentials already provided by CBSE.
In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CBSE introduced two board exams for Class X from 2026. The main board exam was held from 17 February to 11 March 2026. The second board exams were conducted to give eligible students of the main board exam an opportunity to improve their scores. The best results from the two exams will be taken into account to prepare the final results.
