In Chennai, the self-enumeration process of the 2027 census begins

Residents within Greater Chennai Corporation limits can complete the first phase of Census 2027 through self-enumeration from July 17 to 31 by registering their household details on the official portal, https://se.census.gov.in. The inventory of houses and the census of apartments will be carried out from August 1 to 30. According to the press release, residents can provide enumerators with a self-enumeration number during the survey.
