He is looking for a fisherman who disappeared after he hunted into the sea on Saturday when he was hunting in Kodiyakkarai, Kodiyakkarai.
Three fishermen started the sea on a glass fiber boat owned by Kumar of Kuttiyandiura, Mayiladuturai. Lakshmanan, 40, from Keel Mookkai near Srahazhi, hunted with P. Mahalingam (55 years) and C. Santhosh, 48 years when the harsh sea caused the ship to swing about 15 naval milderly from Kodiyakkai. Mr. Lakshmanan lost his balance and fell overboard.
Despite his efforts he could not be saved. The other two returned to the shore on Saturday evening and informed the authorities. A search operation was launched on Sunday, which included local fishing and maritime officials.
