
The former judge of the High Court of Judge Upmak Durg Prasada Rao was appointed as chairman of the new four -member High Energy Committee (HPC), who has the task of examining and recommending, establishing new medical, dental and nursing universities in Andhra Pradesh.
The main Minister of Chandrababa Naida approved his appointment, said that a press release issued by the Ministry of Health, Medical Sciences and Family Care.
The other three members included in the Sudhakar Prasad, former professor of the Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences and a reputable plastic and microavascular surgeon; NSB PARIMALA, Head of Anatomy at NRI Medical College Chinakakani; And Raghu Boddepalli, a dentist from Visakhapatnam.
Meanwhile, HPC has received and examines the applications of new universities, check the affordable infrastructure before recommending the government to issue a certificate of necessity (EC) in eligible cases.
The new term HPC has been for three years.
