Responding to Mint’s queries, LK Dash, Deputy Director General (International Relations and Global Trade), Department of Posts, said, “The department’s efforts will be to trust customers that if there is any issue of non-delivery due to reasons beyond their control, we will refund their postage. That was the idea we started with and it found approval from the competent authority.”
