AP Govt. informs the Amaravati Economic Region Implementation Committee
The Andhra Pradesh government on Friday informed the Implementation Committee for Amaravati Economic Region (AER), whose members are the Collectors of Guntur, NTR, Krishna, Eluru, Prakasam, West Godavari, Palnadu, Bapatla and Markapuram districts and Municipal Corporation/Municipal Commissioners and Chairpersons of Urban Development Authorities in these districts.
The CEO of AER will be the chairman of the committee while the commissioner of the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority will be the member-convener.
In GO Rt No. 945 issued by Principal Secretary (Municipal Administration & Urban Development) S. Suresh Kumar, it was stated that the AER comprising the districts of NTR, Krishna, Eluru, West Godavari, Guntur, Palnadu, Bapatla, Prakasam and Markapuram has been identified as a strategic economic area to promote balanced regional development, logistics, industrial development, industrial development and industrial development. planning framework.
The committee is tasked with coordinating the implementation of the AER plan in all participating districts, ULBs, UDAs and concerned foreign ministries, preparing, approving and regularly updating a comprehensive implementation plan with clearly defined milestones, schedules and responsibilities and ensuring convergence between ministries, district administrations, ULBs and UDAs, government agencies and central government institutions for effective implementation.
