TEXPO 2026 brings together 299 industrial exhibitors

Thirumudivakkam Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association organized TEXPO 2026, one of Tamil Nadu’s major business-to-business industrial exhibitions, at the SIDCO Industrial Complex in Thirumudivakkam near Chennai.

Around 299 exhibitors presented themselves at the exhibition. “We have received around 2,000 registrations and all the participants are from different industries,” said R. Selvam, Chairman, TEXPO 2026.

Kancheepuram Collector D. Sneha thanked the participants for their contribution to the economic development of the region. “Such exhibitions will help SMEs to establish further cooperation,” she said.

RV Chari, chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industries Chennai Zone, said automation, artificial intelligence and new product development are the way forward. He also suggested using college students for cost-effective automation, adding that industry should seek their support.

S. Vasudevan, president of the Tamil Nadu Small and Small Scale Industries Association, said more public sector companies should be invited to participate in such events.
