The Mahashtra Government approved £ 13.46 for creating a memorial in honor of the award -winning Ashok Chakra and Hero 26/11 Hero Tukaram Omble in its native, according to the government resolution. The memorial will be built in his native village, Kedambe, in the Satara district.
“The administrative approval of RS 13,46,34,201 was awarded for the construction of the memorial for the Ashok Characra Shaheed Tukaram Omble on his birthplace, Kedambe, Jaoli, District Satara,” he read the order.
The project is financed within the state “establishment of monuments for large personalities in rural areas”. One fifth of the total cost of the memorial, which is 2.7 GBP, will be published for the fiscal 2025 to start working on the structure, the rural development department added to the government resolution.
Mr. Omble was a Bombai police inspector who was posthumously awarded Ashok Chakra, the highest Indian price for peace, for his bravery during the terrorist attacks in Mumbai 26/11.
