The collector Sumit Kumar said that the Chittoor district remains the number one in the state production in the state and will take further steps to bring revolutionary reforms in the milk sector.
The collector concerning the inspection meeting with the animal breeding department, representatives of the National Coordination Committee for Egg Coordination (NECC) and hatchery, the collector said the district could make great progress in the development of milk if officials perform their functions in coordination with the departments to maintain and strengthen milk agriculture.
Mr. Sumit Kumar stressed that many farmers in the district depend on milk breeding and at the same time participate in agriculture. He called on animal breeding officials to cross the action plan for the development of livestock. “Visits to the field and a periodic assessment of the problems facing the milk sector farmers should be the privilege of employees at the animal breeding level, with thorough monitoring of district officials,” he said.
The collector ordered officials to coordinate with banks to help farmers in obtaining loans to obtain livestock and dealing with the money questions they face. “Officials should also start coordination meetings with bankers to increase the development of milk in the district,” he said.
Sumit Kumar said that the strengthening of the milk sector will also create sustainable income for farmers and help them overcome the problems they face due to unpredictable climatic conditions in agriculture. He also announced an action plan to improve the status of the poultry industry in the Chittoor to support the employment generation.
