ECI revises Telangana SIR plan; extends BLO’s door-to-door visit from July 24 to August 3

The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Wednesday (July 15, 2026) revised the Special Intensive Review (SIR) schedule for Telangana, saying that the BLO’s door-to-door visit has been extended from July 24 to August 3.

Likewise, the rationalization and rearrangement of polling stations was extended from July 24 to August 3. The proposal for the publication of documents was extended until August 10, and the deadline for submitting complaints and objections will be from August 10 to September 9. The notification and rejection phase of claims and objections is now from August 10 to October 10, and the final publication of the documents is scheduled for October 12.
