Doctor found dead in Dharwad, eight-year-old son fights for life

A doctor was found dead in a pool of blood in his flat and his eight-year-old son was fighting for his life in Dharwad on Wednesday.

The police took the doctor’s wife, who is also a doctor, into custody in connection with the act.

Commissioner of Police N. Shashikumar, who visited the crime scene, gave the name of the deceased as 45-year-old Kiran Honnannavar. He was an anesthesiologist working in a private hospital and a resident of Ranko Stello Apartment in Barakotri, Dharwad.

He was found dead with multiple stab wounds.

He said the boy, who also suffered stab wounds, was found while police were still breathing at the scene. The boy was immediately taken to the hospital. His condition is said to be critical.

He said the deceased’s wife, Priyanka, appeared to be in shock but her statement was incoherent.

She was taken into custody for further questioning.

The police commissioner said they are trying to find out what happened.

A preliminary investigation revealed that Dr. Priyanka answered the calls of Dr. Honnannavara from Tuesday evening and each time she told the caller a different story about where Dr. Honnannavar finds, which gives rise to the suspicion that the murder could have happened on Tuesday itself.

According to the complaint filed by the family members of Dr. It seemed to Honnannavar that the cause of the terrible incident was a domestic dispute.

According to reliable sources, the accused was found watching her mobile phone in another room while her husband’s body was lying in a pool of blood and her son was fighting for his life.
