Man killed, another injured after truck hits motorcycle near Suchitra

A 31-year-old man died and another was injured after a truck collided with their motorcycle on Tuesday morning near Friends Circle Restaurant in Suchitra.

The deceased was identified as Kadali Dushyanth, who was traveling as a motorcycle pilot. Rider Satya Daiva Prasad sustained injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

According to the Petbasheerabad police, the two were driving from Suchitra towards Trimulgherry around 11.30 am when a truck traveling in the same direction hit their motorcycle near a bend.

Dushyanth sustained severe injuries in the collision. Local residents rushed him to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead around noon. Satya Daiva Prasad is undergoing treatment.

The Petbasheerabad police have registered a case against the truck driver and started an investigation.
