Spain to make France’s star attack look ordinary to reach the World Cup final

Spain turned the most feared attack at the World Cup into an afterthought as they outclassed tournament favorites France 2-0 to storm into their second ever World Cup final. Luis de la Fuente’s side completely neutralized Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele and Michael Olis and refused to let the French front line dictate the game.

Mikel Oyarzabal broke the deadlock from the penalty spot after Lucas Digne fouled Lamine Yamal, before Pedro Porro capped a sweeping team move with an equalizing finish to double the lead.
