Alampur Montessori School Honors Founder With ‘Sphoorthi 2026’ Celebrations

Alampur Montessori School organized ‘Sphoorthi 2026’ to commemorate the 14th death anniversary of its founder, Kalyanamma.

KNV School Principal Ravi Prakash and Principal P. Nagalakshmi paid floral tributes to the founder’s portrait on the occasion. Teachers and students also paid tribute by delivering speeches, poems and songs highlighting various aspects of Kalyanamma’s inspirational life and her remarkable contribution to education.

As part of the celebration of the golden jubilee of Montessori educational institutions, a free mega blood donation camp was organized in the school premises. The camp was officially opened by Dr. Vinima Tejasri, Government Medical Officer, Gadwal, and Dr. Syed Basha, Superintendent Government Hospital Alampur. More than 100 members, including management, teachers and non-teaching staff, donated blood.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Ravi Prakash appreciated Kalyanamma’s extraordinary dedication towards the development of the school. He said that through her tireless hard work, Kalyanamma proved the saying, “There is no want for those who work diligently”, and described her life as a model of inspiration.

Director Nagalakshmi stated that Kalyanamma firmly believed in three guiding principles – determination, dedication and success – and lived by them, becoming a role model for generations.

The evening’s cultural program featured a series of performances depicting the life and achievements of Kalyanamma through Powerpoint presentations, songs, poems and English skits. The students also presented a traditional performance of ‘Burrakatha’ narrating her inspiring life journey, earning her widespread appreciation for her outstanding presentation. Hindi songs and poems were performed and the students beautifully explained verses from the Bhagavad Gita adding spiritual significance to the event.

The Principal congratulated the students, faculty and staff for their dedicated efforts to make Sphoorthi 2026 a memorable and meaningful event.
