Andhra Pradesh Education Department is launching “Mission March SSC-2027” with 100% success rate
Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has launched “Mission March SSC-2027: A Leap Towards 100% Success – Action Plan Phase-1” to improve learning outcomes and help students achieve 100% pass in SSC-2027 public examinations.
The initiative, which will be implemented in all government schools across the state from July 13 to November 30, aims to enhance academic readiness of students through competency-based learning in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023 and the assessment framework recommended by PARAKH, the regulatory body of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
A statement on Sunday (July 12, 2026) said that as part of the scheme, schools will host specialist academic support every weekday from 4pm to 5pm. During these sessions, teachers focus on subject revision, competency-based practice, and daily slide tests to assess students’ learning progress and identify areas for improvement.
To support classroom learning, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Andhra Pradesh, will provide daily study plans, question banks, study materials and sliding tests through the LEAP app and the official website of the board, giving students regular access to digital learning resources.
The program also adopts a differentiated learning strategy by grouping students according to their level of learning. Students requiring additional academic support will be placed in the “Rising Stars” category, where emphasis will be placed on strengthening basic knowledge and achieving minimum educational competencies. Advanced students will be grouped under ‘Shining Stars’, with a particular focus on developing higher order thinking and analytical skills.
Teachers were given the responsibility of continuously monitoring students’ academic progress, providing remedial coaching for slow learners, mentoring high-performing students, and maintaining systematic records of each student’s performance. Principals and officials of the Department of School Education will regularly review the implementation of the program to ensure its effective implementation in schools.
Director of School Education A. Tameem Ansariya said the competency-based education initiative was introduced to build students’ confidence and prepare them for future academic challenges. She appealed to teachers, parents and all stakeholders to actively participate in the successful implementation of the program so that every class X student is well prepared to excel in the SSC-2027 public examinations.
