Mr. Yadav, the leader of the opposition in the Bihar Assembly, said whether the party remained in power or not, will continue to protest from the streets to the house until the WAQF account is withdrawn. Those who wanted to catch the WAQF property by law would never have been allowed to succeed, he said.

Promises of support
“We will not compromise for any cost of our resolution against the municipal forces and we are standing with you and we will be with you to download the WAQF law. Such movements have always received our support and will continue to receive it,” said Mr. Prasad.
Mr. Prasad said that BJP wanted to end the ganga-jami culture (social harmony) of the country. He said that an indirect attack on the NITIST Kumar government in Bihar said that all parties in the group (NDA) support BJP policy for power.
“Illegal move”
Mr. Yadav said that the draft WAQF law brought the central government illegal. “We thank you all for Mahajutan (Grand Assembly) against the bill and for the protesters united to maintain the country’s constitutional system. Our party and leader Lalu Prasadji always stood with you.
He also said, “We proceeded in advance from the house to the streets. Today we also moved the proposal for discussion, but the house was adjourned.” The gathering said that RJD opposed the bill when it appeared before the meeting of the joint parliamentary committee (JPC).
Mr. Yadav asked the protesters to believe in the institute and maintain religious friendship.
“The parties that support this law in the desire to stay in power want to weaken the ganga-juni culture. They want to weaken the country by standing with those who want to end the constitutional system of Baby Saheb,” Yadav said. He accused the government of NDA led by BJP of hatching a plot to break the country on religious lines.
The protest in Patno was also attended by the leader of the party Jan Suuraj (JSP) Prashant Kishor, President Azad Samaj Party (ASP) Chandrashekhar Azad and Samajwadi Party Maulan Muuulan Mohibullah.
