Our Field Trip to Google I/O + a sit-down with Sundar Pichai + a system update

This week we headed to Mountain View, California for the annual Google I/O developer event. We’re sharing our reactions to Google’s biggest announcements, including a redesigned search box, new agent tools to compete with OpenClaw, and an updated Gemini flash model that the company says is faster than the competition. We then ask Sundar Pichai, the company’s CEO, how he reacts to the growing evidence that the public is sour on AI, what advice he would give to college graduates scared of the current job market, and how the company stacks up against the competition in the AI race. Finally, we’ll run through the week’s other big tech headlines in our System Updates segment.
