Jana Sena Party (JSP) district president and Anantapur Hindupur Urban Development Authority (HUDA) chairman TC Varun condemned former MLC and political analyst Nageswara’s remarks against the alliance parties in the state.

Mr. Varun said it was shameful that Mr. Nageswar had humiliated himself and become a mouthpiece of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and its chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Speaking to the media in Anantapur on Thursday (May 21, 2026), Mr. Varun claimed that Mr. Nageswar was unable to digest the public adulation that Mr. Pawan Kalyan was getting. He alleged that Mr. Nageswar had connived with the YSRCP to make malicious statements and demanded that the remarks be withdrawn immediately.

“It is shameful that Mr. Nageswar claims that Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who has dominated national politics, considers Mr. Jagan a trusted ally,” he said.

Mr. Varun dismissed Mr. Nageswar’s claim that Mr. Shah dictated to Mr. Pawan Kalyan how the JSP should deal with coalition partner Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. “It reveals Nageswar’s utter ignorance and desperation,” he said.

Mr. Varun said that YSRCP cannot disturb the unity of the alliance parties. He warned that if Mr. Nageswar did not withdraw his remarks, he would face the wrath of the alliance cadres.
