Kadapa mobile phone seller killed in boat accident in Vietnam

Mudiyam Sridhar, a prominent mobile phone salesman from Kadapa, died in a boat accident in Vietnam on a trip organized by a leading mobile phone company for its Andhra Pradesh distributors.
Mr. Sridhar was among the 28 distributors from various districts of the state who traveled on the excursion. The accident occurred when the tourist boat they were traveling in capsized.
The news of Mr. Sridhar’s death has shocked his relatives, friends and members of the business community. For the last 25 years, he ran Kaushik Communications, a mobile phone retail store in Kadapa. He is survived by his son Kaushik and daughter Kiranmayi.
Expressing grief over the incident, Kadapa District Collector Cherukuri Sridhar said that the district administration has initiated steps to provide all necessary assistance to the bereaved family.
Finance Division Officer A. Murali, on the instructions of the Collector, visited the family of Mr. Sridhar on Saturday evening, expressed his condolences and assured them that all necessary arrangements have been made to facilitate the return of the mortal remains to Kadapa.
