ECI officials are reviewing the SIR process in Visakhapatnam

Election Commission of India officials on Thursday reviewed the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls underway in Visakhapatnam district.

Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar and Deputy Sanjay Kumar undertook a field visit to several places.

First, they inspected the SIR process at Happy Home, under Polling Station No. 193 in Visakhapatnam West Constituency, where they interacted with the voters and examined the mapped voter lists.

Subsequently, they reviewed the digitization process at Polling Station No. 30 in Visakhapatnam North Constituency. Officials also inspected polling booths No. 280 and 281 in Bheemili constituency.

They were accompanied by GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg, RDOs Dileep Chakravarthy and Sangeeth Madhur and concerned Election Registration Officers (EROs) and Assistant EROs.
