CM Revanth changes chef for his grandson

To the world, he is Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. But at home he is simply ‘grandpa’.

“Taatha… I will eat only if you make puris for me,” Reyansh’s grandson insisted. And the Chief Minister merrily exchanged government files for a rolling pin.

Standing next to his grandson in the kitchen, kneading dough, rolling out puris—some perfectly round to his grandson’s delight and many misshapen—the morning unfolded with laughter instead of official meetings.

Is it wrong for a grandson to ask, “Grandpa… you will eat only if you make puris”?

A grandson by his side, a handful of flour in his hand, laughter in his mouth, a dozen puris that are not round…

In a busy public life… these few moments spent making puris with my grandson, sweet memories…#Familypic.twitter.com/TXDbufWCdY

Little boy Reyansh joined in and expressed his opinion on the shape of the puri. For him, they were oval in shape, rather than the rounded ones his grandmother made. The grandfather looked pleased with the designs as he gave them perfect shape and size under his grandson’s guidance, with a smile that rarely finds a place in the demanding world of politics.

Amidst the relentless pace of public life, this quiet family moment offered the Chief Minister a welcome break. The breakfast they prepared together became much more than a meal, it became a memory. Grandpa would surely appreciate it.
