PM internship scheme receives new performance metrics after pilot review | Today’s news

Under the ministry’s FY26-27 performance framework, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has been tasked with engaging 750 eligible companies, enabling 73,333 internship opportunities, ensuring timely monthly direct benefit transfers (DBTs) to interns and achieving 100% internship completion rate, the people said. The framework aims for a 50% increase in companies posting internships on the PMIS portal and a similar increase in listed internship opportunities.
